My name is Mark Paterson and I develop and manage the Vancouver Island Bonsai Club Website. These are some of my bonsai trees. I hope you like them. My other website is mentioned at the bottom of the page. |

The first thing to do was get rid of the long thin branches

I wired the heck out of it. Something still bothered me. The tree was too sprawling. The spike seemed silly.

I photoshopped some pictures, removing this or that branch. The second I finished this, I stood and went back to the tree. |
I shortened the spike, and removed the heavy back branch. It worked!
