Your tree is in trouble?!? The first thing to do is e-mail us for help! We need to know a few things when you contact us so that we may respond the most accurately the most quickly.

1) What type of plant do you have? Its common name is preferable, then its latin. Feel free to include both if you know them. If you know neither, describe the tree in as detailed as you can. Its healthy condition please. Does it have leaves? What are the shape of what it does have? What does the bark look like? How big is it?

2) How do you keep your plant? Indoors or out? Does it get lots of sun? Does it get lots of sun at some times of the year and not so much at others? Is there a heater near by? Is the tree in a windy location? Is it in a big pot or a small one? What kind of soil does it have? Is it in akadama, lava rock, some kind of bonsai mix, potting soil, the dirt it was growing in when you got it? Has the plant been stressed out lately - not watered, over-watered, you went on vacation and your uncle cared for it, all the leaves fell off a month ago but it seemed fine until now, etc...?

3) What is wrong with your plant? Do the leaves/needles/scales look wilted? Are they the wrong color? What color? Does it go from one end of the leaf to the other or only half way? Is there anything black involved? Anything slimy? Does the tree rock in the pot? Does it rock at the base or does the whole dirt clod move? Can you see insects?

Also, feel free to send pictures! We can tell a lot from looking at the plant. Higher resolution is better!
